Helios I

A small satellite with one job: prove the systems every factory bay will run on.

Think of it as the show home. Before anyone rents space on a Helios module, our guidance, power and thermal systems will have flown, been pushed hard and been measured in orbit.

Demonstration payload

While it proves the platform, it maps the heat.

Helios I carries a thermal infrared imager pointed at cities. Urban heat islands kill people in heatwaves and wear out buildings and infrastructure. The data is split into life-risk and asset-risk layers and published openly.

Holding a thermal camera steady on a city block from 500 km away is a properly hard pointing test. Which is rather the point.
